The Role
Reporting to the Head of Structured Products, this analytically focused role plays a critical part in supporting the performance, administration and risk management of CBH Grain’s pools and grower risk management products. You will maintain accurate trading and product positions across a diverse portfolio, assist in the development and execution of risk management strategies, and help maximise value while ensuring positions remain within approved limits.
This position is offered on a fixed term basis until 30 September 2027.
Responsibilities include:

Maintain accurate pool and risk management product positions to support reporting, profit and loss analysis and risk management decisions.

Support the development and execution of effective risk management strategies across the product suite.

Review product processes and work instructions, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and controls.

Contribute to the ongoing administration and governance of CBH Grain's pools and grower risk management products.
About You:

Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business, economics, actuarial science or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience in financial markets, trading operations, risk management or a similar analytical role.

Exposure to commodity, derivative or foreign exchange markets, with an understanding of trading risk management principles and techniques.

Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by advanced computer literacy.

Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Exposure to the grain industry or agricultural commodities will be highly regarded.
